Decided pic menu is fine, if it was really an issue, I would just have an archive page. Tests on the Treo 650 & Apple iPhone were usable with many large items, and normal browsing is fine.

I've added lots of new pics, including some old ones that have been in limbo. The photo gallery system has been revamped to fix current issues. Need to address the growing size of the pic menu, maybe work on the articles some more.

New photos are up; pics is currently the largest menu item on the site, though some of the new sections aren't as populated
as others, at least they are up.

I finally have the pictures backup! I need to redo the family/friend section, as since this site first
started, my family has grown changed. Such changes should be evident from the photos once I have them
up, plus I'm going to add the wedding photos [hopefully before the first anniversary!].

I don't want to hear any crap about selling out, as I think the ads are well placed and harmonious. I am a strong supporter of Google's AdSense program, as long as it's non-obtrusive to a website and yields (which AdSense does) content-relelevant ads (although, I do plan on filtering out as much as possible the annoying search result results--you know, you search for something in Google, select a result, only to find it's another search with more results ARGHHHHHHHHH). The small monetary benefity of the program is not significant, but just another stream of passive income. The sum of the parts is equal to the whole, so a lot of small parts equals a large whole.

Updated menu and other pages, plus added more to my 3 year-in-writing
article. There are some other artcile ideas floating around in my head, including server admin, backup management, and a few others. We'll see if they take 3 years, or if I can beat my procrastination record. Pics are also uploaded, I'll be working on getting the galleries
back up and running as well as add'l pics.

New design is in place, as well as the
layout for some new content. Some of the
pics are gone, but I'll have them up and running
shortly.
